The type of shot on the photograph is a Cu-close up shot. I have used this shot to reveal detail with just showing the head and shoulders.The mood created from this photograph is tense, uneasy and scared.  The close angle makes it seem that the character isn't afraid and not afraid to hide anything about her past as it gives us a lot of detail from this shot. However with her hair covered over her face this could make the audience feel as if she is hiding something which would create more tension. I wanted the hair to cover the face to create the effect of this character hiding her personality and image. This is showing the audience that this is a character to keep an eye on, leading to people not knowing her personality making her seem even more suspicious and making the audience even this if she is possessed. If I could do this again I would make the characters hair and make-up look scruffier as if she has lost all power and self control.
